Ayer fue la gala de los Kerrang! Awards 2011.

Thirty Seconds To Mars fue premiado con dos de esos premios:

-Best International Band (Mejor banda internacional)

-Best Single "Hurricane" (Mejor Single por "Hurricane")

Y My Chemical Romance ganó:

Bueno, en estos premios My Chemical Romance estaba nominado a una categoría (Best Fan Army) y 30 Seconds To Mars a dos (Best Fan Army y Not Safe For Work).
Solo 30 Seconds To Mars se ha llevado un premio por Hurricane en la categoría de “Not Safe For Work”.
En la categoría de mejores fans hemos sido vencidos por los “Aliens” de Tokio Hotel… yo sigo pensando que somos mucho mejores los echelons y killjoys que ellos, pero bueno, a lo mejor ha sido porque ellos tenían más tiempo de votar…
En fin, no hay que perder los ánimos, TSTM y MCR ya saben que somos muy buenos fans, así que no hay nada que demostrar que ellos no sepan.
es a TSTM y el año que viene ya ganaremos mas!

Live Stream + NIGHT OF THE HUNTER

Durante el “State of the Union” 30 Seconds To Mars anunció que les gustaría mucho realizar un video para “Night Of The Hunter”.
La canción fue elegida por los fans para ser el próximo single (yo también creo que debería ser el próximo single) y a la banda le ha parecido perfecto.
A Jared parece gustarle mucho la canción  (más bien le encanta, a lo mejor es su favorita de This Is War…) y dice que le parece estupendo que los fans la hayan escogido y que les encantaría hacer un video para Night Of The Hunter, que se convertirá en su próximo single.

“During our “State of the Union” live stream on Thursday night, 30 Seconds to Mars spoke at length about their past (Jared Leto’s Kurt Cobain fascination), their present (Friday’s headlining slot at the Bamboozle Festival) and, of course, their future.
And when it came time to discuss that last point, they took the opportunity to break a bit of news: They’d chosen “Night of the Hunter” as the next single off This Is War. And yes, they’re very happy about it. Because, ever since they released their album in late 2009, they’ve been battling to get the song heard.
“We never thought this would happen, but we think it’s going to be our next single in the States. There’s always a song that fans latch onto, that the real music-lovers and  the listeners [latch onto],” 30STM frontman Jared Leto told MTV News. “And this is the one, early on … when we asked, ‘What do you think should be a single?’ [fans] always mention this, but people didn’t quite think that this was the one at the time — some of the people at the record company or at radio stations — but they’ve warmed up to it, and now it’s really fun to have a song that’s eclectic and different to be a single.”
In short, it’s the kind of song a band has to earn the right to release. And 30STM have certainly done that. So now, their favorite track — Leto said it “encapsulates everything about 30 Seconds to Mars that we are interested in, musically” — is set to be released to radio … with an appropriately epic video, of course.
“I would love to make a video for ‘Night of the Hunter,’ because I think it’s one of the most cinematic songs on the record; when we play it live onstage, it always evokes imagery to me,” Leto said. “The song really grew from … my brother and I were born in Louisiana, we had a single mom … who, at the time, was a high school dropout living in the South, [so we] really didn’t have very much in terms of materialistic things. And although we moved out of the South when we were kids — you know, we joke we kind of climbed out of the muddy banks of the Mississippi River with food stamps in one hand and our instruments in the other — our mother helped carve a new life for us. And I think that song has some spirit of the South in it; some kind of American Gothic feel.”

PD: Ojala hagan el video, entonces tendríamos 5 fabulosos videos de This Is War para mirar todo el rato (aunque me terminaran bloqueando la cuenta YouTube por darle al “me gusta".

Optimus Alive Festival

My Chemical Romance y 30 Seconds To Mars actuaran los 2 en el Optimus Alive Festival.
Este esta muy cerquita de España (para mi suerte) y se situa en Portugal.
My Chemical ROmance actua el jueves 7 de Julio junto a Foo Fighters y mas.
30 Seconds To Mars toca la dia siguiente, el viernes 8 de Julio junto a The Chemical Brothers y The Pretty Reckless.
Añadir que el 6 toca Coldplay y el 9 Paramore.

Sala De Trofeos DE 30STM

Bueno aqui dejo el enlance de la nueva "Thirty Seconds To Mars Trophy Room", donde se exponen algunos de los premios de 30 Seconds To Mars. Premios con la foto (de el premio) y alguno con un gif (premio-ellos con premio).

A mi me parece una muy buena idea, asi vemos su triunfo y llevamos un recuento de los premios, esperemos se sumen muchos mas!!

A ver si MCR se anima y hace lo mismo.

El viernes 26 de agosto tocaran en el Reading festival y el sabado 27 en el Leeds festival.
